Creative Process

My design process begins with a drawing. I take inspiration from life, collage what I see into abstract patterns, and fill the spaces with embroidery and texture.

Continuous line drawing helps me keep an eye on scale and proportion without taking my pen off the page. With my background in Art and Design, I use printmaking, 3D methods and my sewing machine to translate my ideas into reality.
